General description of the organisation:
The Regional Development Centre Koper (herafter RDC Koper) acts as an institution on regional level with the aim of promoting business and economy development in the South Primorska. It performs the role of regioanl co-ordinator of interests on local as well as national level in the fields of regional development, economy, human resources and environment protection. In 2001 RDC Koper gained the status of leading organization of the Regional Development Agency South Primorska (hereafter RDA) for 8 municipalities. In this role RDC Koper became a permanent representative of ministries, governmental organizations, chambers of commerce and craft, companies and other institutions. RDC Koper promotes and implements projects of cross-border parnterships with Italy and Croatia. The Areas of Activity are: Regional development tasks, Managing and monitoring the Regional Development Programme, Business Promotion, Human resources and employment development, International projects and cross-border co-operation and Innovation activity.
 

Role of the participant organisation in the project:
Considering its huge experience in participating at European level projects and the specific skills in business, economy and human resources development that it can provide to the project activities, RDC Koper will act as Quality Controller of the OPTIMUS project advances and outcomes, elaborating a Quality Plan and continuously verifying its implementation.

Will lead WP4 (Quality Monitoring).Will participate to all other WPs.
