OPTIMUS Dissemination & Exploitation Conference in Livorno

A local OPTIMUS Dissemination & Exploitation Conference took place in the Port of Livorno today, hosted by Livorno Port Authority as project coordinator.
The conference was chaired jointly by the President of Livorno Port Authority Mr. Roberto Piccini and the director of CEIICP Labs (*) of Sant’Anna School for Advanced Studies Prof. Giancarlo Prati, and was attended by representatives of port companies, employers association, universities and local authorities.
OPTIMUS project partners, aims, objectives, website and main results were presented during the conference, thanks to the presentations made by Prof. Prati (CEIICP), Prof. Bergamasco and Fontana (PERCRO), Dr. Querci and Mr. Papucci (Livorno Port Authority), and some dissemination material was distributed to the participants (brochures in Italian, English and Spanish).
The conference was ended with the official signature of an important OPTIMUS Exploitation result: a Cooperation Agreement between Livorno Port Authority and CEIICP Labs for fostering research activities and technological developments in the port sector, with a particular focus on designing and experimenting new types of simulators for port operations safety, security and process modelling.
